At the buried city of Pompeii, archeologists recently uncovered this fresco. After documenting the discovery, the scientists unanimously decided to re-bury it.

A more modern oddity is this previously unknown Andy Warhol painting "Many Steves". Although considered by the art community as "hard on the eyes", it nevertheless fetched 1.2 million at a recent private auction in New York.

Even the photography worls is not safe from these 'Steve sightings'. This Ansel Adams rare indoor photograph was recently uncovered in the attic of Mrs. Abbercrombie of SouthPort, MI. Experts have speculated that Adams took this during a drunken three day bender.
